new to(ys)ols!!

My UPS guy, Kenny, brought me some stuff yesterday afternoon.  NICE.  This is actually two different tools.

The big thing is a tubing roller, for making large radius bends in tubing (I have dies for 3/4″ and 1 1/8″)

The other is a regular tubing bender for tighter bends. (dies for 1/4″ 3/8″ 1/2″ and 5/8″).

I woke up this morning (at 5:30) feeling just exhausted.  Got on the assless and went off to radiation.  It was clear to me right away that today wasn’t going to be a work day.  I’ve been in consistently more pain lately.  Took some tylenol 3 (with codeine) for it..  that has just added dopey to already tired.  Oh well.  It’s pleasant in a way.  Just a bit of a pisser, because I’d rather be playing with benders than taking a nap.

I don’t know if you drink tea, but I’ve always found green tea to be helpful when feeling ill, and when not. Granted, I’ve not dealt with chemo/radiation, but I swear it did keep me out of the hospital when I had salmonella last year. Hang in there, man.

I am truly amazed at people who are dealing with cancer. One of the secretaries where I work recently passed away from cancer. She battled with it for over 12 year. She was such a strong person. She never complained about having to go through all the surgeries and chemo treatments. I never heard her ask “why me”. I am so fortunate to have know her.

I just recently started reading your blog and I get the same impression from you that I got from her. Keep fighting it. I do not know what your religion affiliation is, but I will keep you in my prayers.

You are truly one amazing person.

Hang in there – You are in my thoughts and prayers everyday
Glad to hear that you aren’t pushing yourself too much and allowing yourself to rest when you need. Keeping my fingers crossed for your for next week (chemo week, right???)

Word of the day – SICK!

    Not just you, the tools.

    Damn you!
You continue to inspire me, and I like to think of myself as “uninspirable”.
Long before you had a need for an Assless bike, and a blog to provide daily updates to all of your other stalkers, I was originally inspired by your refreshingly simplistic style of building bicycles-n-stuff. Not to mention your photo friendly eye.
Your ability to stay mentally alive and seemingly positive through all this unforeseen BS is inspiring as well. Stay strong Ezra!

Best Wishes to you, your little lady and your pup!

Oh yeah… Who makes the pasta bender?

A few workers in our area got Salmonella poisoning. It is a good thing that they did not die and they have fully recovered. *
