I am Ezra Caldwell.
I’m 39 so far, and was diagnosed with cancer in the summer of 2008.
Since then I’ve been through two major surgeries, each followed by 6 month rounds of chemotherapy.
In the late fall of 2012, I was diagnosed with recurrent stage IV metastasis and given 6-8 months to live.
As a friend said, “sometimes what doesn’t kill you just keeps on trying!”
Over the years, this blog has been a way to keep people up to date as treatment progressed.
At this point, I have decided with those who are the closest to me, not to treat the disease any further.
I will keep documenting the progress of the disease and the experience as long as I am able to.
