Getting started tomorrow!

The last three days have been GREAT.  Long days in the shop, working on the assless bike.  I just about managed to finish.  I ran out of time and acetylene before I managed to get the front disc tab on.

I start six weeks of chemo and radiation tomorrow.  I’m ready.  Ready to get going with this thing.

My doc tells me that it won’t kick my ass too badly.  I think he’s probably right.  I’m hoping that I’m able to keep working through this, but not banking on it exactly.

I’ll keep you all posted.

  1. Ezra – I am not sure if you’re religious at all, but I can tell you that my thoughts and prayers are with you.
I came across your flickr a while back and have been a quiet follower of your stream and “internet” offerings for a while. You have a kick ass dog and make some cool stuff with cameras and torches. I especially liked your video of the people faux skating and then getting tackled.
Anyhow, this isn’t something I normally do, but felt compelled to do it tonight. I a sure you have a close network of friends to lean on, but know there are complete strangers thinking good thoughts for you. Peace.

  2. Good luck tomorrow, Ezra! Don’t be discouraged if you feel worse than you expected. It’s killing something powerful off, after all. And the assless bike looks great.
